Well I still have to click twice to get the curser in the box it goes off the first time I click but it is much better now thanks at least the page does not move like it used to

Well done McForum for having a go at updating the Forum. It's a big learning curve. If you want any help just ask. phpBB's not my thing What I do know is updating large websites. It"s also a thing I dodge when I can.

Normally the new site is built and tested in a sub domain. i.e.: site.mycostaforums.com. When it all works properly that site is moved to the main domain folder. All going well it's a down time of 15 mins to 1 hour.

Freddo's bouncy problem is down to Internet Exploders dodgy php website rendering. Various fixes are documented on the php forum.
One is to add
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />
to the overall page headers. Forcing IE to render as IE 7 (overall_header.html)

No longer be padawan mcforum, you soon will. Old Tobi Wan Mcforum, you will be.
iOS, Android and Amazon Apps. Now available in Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona
